Dr. Teh Noranis Mohd Aris received her Bachelor Degree in Information Technology (Hons.) from University Utara Malaysia (UUM), in 1994. She received her Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2002, and Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2008. Currently, she is a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, UPM. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Software Agent and Programming Science. Students are invited to join her research work in various intelligent computing areas such as image processing, forecasting, performance prediction, computer programming education, bio-informatics, etc.

One of her notable works in Neural Network and Fuzzy Logic Algorithm is an intelligent hybrid algorithm that can improve Quick Response (QR) Code recognition rate on large data size on mobile phone.

Her expertise on software agents, fuzzy logic algorithms and ontology are instrumental in tackling environmental challenges such as building the critical flood warning and forecasting system.

Based on graph theories and agent technology, she models the static and dynamic components of bio-nano robotic systems.
